"...a not-for-profit corporation under Illinois law. The Association shall be the governing body for all of the Owners for the administration and operation of the Cornmunity Area. The Association shall be responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of the Community Area. "
This is the official description of the Association, taken directly from our Official Declaration.
The Summerlin subdivision has property, specifically, the monument area at the front entrance, and the large parcel of grass along Farnsworth Ave. on our east side, that each household has partial, equal ownership rights to. Therefore, the Association was created to maintain and enhance this property under the direction of the Homeowners Association and it's respective Board Members.
